- The Department of Computer Engineering was started in the year 1993 to render services to the student community to meet the growing global challenges. It follows the curriculum prescribed by DOTE, Chennai for the award of Diploma.The department is well equipped with new hardware and software laboratories with internet and WI-FI connectivity. With a team of dedicated, experienced and qualified faculty members, the department has witnessed tremendous growth in academics.
- To conduct special seminars covering latest developments and trends in the field of Computer Science, a fully equipped Seminar Hall. The equipment cover Over Head Projector, LCD Projector. The department has a well-equipped hardware and software lab. Year on year, our students have produced good quality projects.
- In order to be more competent to equip student’s ability, department lab facilities have been updated with emerging new technical & technological equipment’s now Database Lab
The objective of the Department is to prepare future generation computer professionals for long-term careers in research, technical development, and applications. The curriculum emphasizes on program design, analysis and implementation, with both a strong theoretical foundation and relevant practical component, covering most aspects of computing and computer communications.
