Chairman's Message

"Intelligence plus character — that is the goal of true education." — Martin Luther King Jr.

At M.I.E.T. Polytechnic College, we believe that education is not merely about acquiring knowledge, but about cultivating the values and skills that shape a responsible individual. Since its inception in 1984, the college has been committed to empowering the youth, especially those from educationally underserved communities, by making quality technical education accessible and meaningful.

Our journey began with a vision to create an institution that not only imparts knowledge but also transforms lives. As an engineer by profession and an educationist by passion, I have always believed that education must be relevant, practical, and rooted in real-world experiences. Today’s fast-evolving world demands more than just academic excellence—it requires resilience, innovation, ethical values, and a global outlook.

At M.I.E.T., we nurture these qualities through a curriculum that blends academics with hands-on training, character-building, and value-based learning. Our dedicated team of faculty—drawn from both industry and academia—strives to create a dynamic learning ecosystem where students become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and compassionate leaders.

Er. A. Mohamed Yunus

Chairman

We take pride in being among the first institutions to introduce part-time engineering diploma programs in this region, widening access to working professionals. With a strong foundation of discipline and innovation, M.I.E.T. stands today as a symbol of trust, excellence, and integrity in technical education.

As we continue to grow, our focus remains on shaping young minds who will contribute to the nation’s development with a spirit of service, knowledge, and dignity. I welcome all aspiring students to join our academic family and be part of a journey that transforms potential into performance.
