Vice Chairman's Message

At M.I.E.T. Polytechnic College, we do not merely educate students—we prepare innovators, creators, and leaders of tomorrow. As a second-generation educationalist, I take immense pride in continuing the legacy of my father, Alhaj Er. A. Mohamed Yunus, whose vision laid the foundation for this esteemed institution.

Engineering is not just a profession—it is a powerful force that shapes the future. While scientists explore the world as it is, engineers imagine and build what has never existed before. In today’s competitive and rapidly evolving landscape, it is essential that our students develop not just technical skills, but also creativity, resilience, and the ability to think independently.

Our mission at M.I.E.T. is to create an academic ecosystem that nurtures such well-rounded individuals. Through advanced teaching methodologies, industry collaborations, and state-of-the-art infrastructure, we strive to provide a holistic education that equips our students for both professional excellence and personal growth.

We understand that the modern world demands more than academic success. It requires professionals who can think on their feet, adapt to uncertainty, and lead with integrity. That is why we focus equally on soft skills, ethics, innovation, and research. We encourage our students to go beyond textbooks—to explore, question, and create.

Dr. M. Y. Abdul Jaleel, B.E., M.Tech., Ph.D

Vice Chairman

M.I.E.T. has consistently produced diploma graduates who are not only employable but also entrepreneurial. Many of our alumni have gone on to build successful careers in core industries, IT, government sectors, and even as business owners. This is a testament to the solid foundation they received here.

As Vice Chairman, I assure every student and parent that M.I.E.T. will continue to uphold the highest standards of technical education while embracing change, innovation, and continuous improvement.
